MODULES

The Indian School of Protocol has a carefully crafted curriculum consisting of 8 modules that focus on all the skills, strategies, tools and techniques required to present yourself as a polished professional. Our courses are made up of these 8 modules, covered to varying degrees, depending on the focus of the course.

1. SELF - PRESENTATION

Did you know that it takes only 7 seconds for our minds to consciously or subconsciously form an impression of someone? And as they say, you never get a second chance to make a first impression!

This module delves into the importance of good business etiquette at home and abroad. It includes:

  • the professional’s code of conduct
  • improving general appearance

  •  introductions and handshakes

  • proper conduct for meetings and conferences

  • engaging in meaningful conversation

2. COMMUNICATION & TECHNOLOGY

Advances in technology have made communication easier, quicker and more efficient. But we need to remember that email, texting and social networks are only the messengers – we are still communicating with humans who have feelings, as well as egos, so it’s important to pay attention to the kind of message we are sending across.

This module enables you to communicate and connect better with colleagues and clients. It includes:

  • answering and making phone calls politely

Mark Twain once said “There are only two types of speakers: those who get nervous and those who are liars.” All of us have experienced stage fright - that knot in the pit of your stomach, the tightening of your throat or the profuse sweating that you cannot seem to control.

Our Public Speaking module empowers you to become a more confident and charismatic speaker by teaching you tools and techniques that will enhance your spoken image. It includes:
